The program was embarked with prayer song. On behalf of the department of language Dr. N. Radha, Head Department of English Language welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members from various departments and students. Dr. R. Muthukumaran Principal of the college delivered his presidential address with a high spirit of enthusiasm. He encouraged the students to develop their reading habit. He also Stoked about the importance of newspaper and its relevance to their knowledge installation. He advised the students to enrich their communicative skills to get placed in good companies. He insisted them to be obedient. The special address has rendered by Dr. Sabari Raja, Assistant Professor and Head Department of English, SNMV College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. He instigated the students to determine the goal to fulfil their desire. He encouraged them to believe in their goal for the achievement in their life. He suggested observing and identifying the obstacle which acts as barrier for their goal and striving hard to rectify them. He elaborated the necessity of acquiring technical skills, a profound knowledge in verbal and non verbal reasoning to be placed in the campus interview. He gave a note on imparting humanity through expression of thanks giving words. He addressed the significance of self learning for their upgrading, self-discipline for their individuality and humanity for their life.
