Postgraduate Department of English organised a Guest Lecture programme  on 11.11.2022 between 10:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m at Dr. Abdul Kalam Arangam. Dr.G.Banumadhi, Assistant Professor,  Department of English, Thiagarajar College of Arts and Science, Madurai delivered a lecture on “ Redefining the role of a Woman as a Listener, Speaker, Reader and Writer ”.  The programme began with a prayer song by the II students. 40 students attended the programme and benefited. The programme helped the students to better their knowledge on the role of woman as a listener, speaker, reader and writer. Ms. R. Sudha, Assistant Professor of English delivered the welcome address. Ms. P.A. Francia, Assistant Professor of English proposed a vote of thanks.
