On 22 January 2024 , three days regenerative agriculture workshop on “Organic farming for budding entrepreneurs” organized by the Department of botany along with Mahindra Tractor (PVT.) (LTD.), Naandi Foundation and the Institution Innovation Council. This Programme mainly focused on organic farming and its importance, encouraging the participants to explore the unique features and opportunities of professional development in society.

Organic farming was actually initiated as an answer to the environmental sufferings caused by the use of chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. Organic farming aims to restoring soil health, maintenance of diversity, increase agricultural production, produce superior quality products, with high nutritional value and free from chemicals. This programme encouraged the participants to come forward with their own ideas and awareness of organic farming for a good health.
