The Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, in association with Institution’s Innovation Council organized a workshop on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a Career Opportunity” on October 26, 2023. During the session, the resource person L.Vimalnayagi, the proprietor of Ulathi Home Made Products located in Velamarathupatti, Udumalpet, discussed the importance of organic food products and concealed the drawbacks of artificial chemical products. She also gave inputs on registration of startups and marketing strategies of organic food products.
Additionally, Dr. Vishnu Vardhini, the CEO of the Makilam Farmer Producer Organization (FPO), provided insights on FPO and its process. The workshop witnessed active participation from over 112 students, who greatly benefitted from the valuable information shared by these two resource persons.
