Department of Computer Applications

Vision

The Department of Computer Applications(U.G) is dedicated to sustain excellence in teaching, to compete global markets for computer professionals, to structurize the students to articulate, principled, innovative and confident which leads to be good leaders and decision makers with passion.

Mission

Increasing the dimensionality of education through the effective use of Information Technology. Provide comprehensive environment to improve the individual proficiency.
Persuade the students to explore, to create, to challenge and to lead.
Inclusive of industry and life oriented subjects based on the current scenario.

Computer Applications

The U.G. Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2000 and an additional section was started in the year 2012.

INFRASTRUCTURE:

  • We have 6 Classrooms with Affordable Seats.
  • We have Lab facility of 60 Systems with Latest Software programs.
  • In our Department, We have 3 Systems with 2 LCDs and Internet Facilities.
  • We maintain Department Library with Text Books, Verbal and Aptitude Books.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

  • PowerPoint’s presentation regarding the recent trends and technologies every day during post College hours for all the three years.
  • Group Discussion and Mock interviews are conducted for final year students for their better placements during post college hours.
  • Technical Quiz and Marketing are conducted by the students every month to improve their technical capability and leadership qualities
  • English newspapers are circulated among the students to improve their communication skills
  • We give communication training and soft skill training through Boot Camp Services since 2009 and due to this we have a good placement record.

The BCA Program typically outlines the career and professional accomplishments that the program aims to enable its graduates to achieve.
 

PEO1

To develop skilled man power in the various areas of information technology like Data Base Management, Software Development, Computer-Languages, Software Engineering and Web Based Applications etc.

To prepare our graduate to start the career as an Application Developer , Network Administrator , Software Tester, Software Engineer, Junior Programmer, Web

Developer.
