UG Department of Social Work

Vision

“To cater the community with Social needs and serve the humanity as whole by Training and developing the future Social Workers with professional Knowledge, Values & Ethics”.

Mission

To impart better learning, quality education and practical trainings.
To provide opportunities for development of skills, competencies and creativity
To inculcate good values, professional ethics and human excellence.
To motivate the students towards participating and presenting papers in state/national level seminars and conferences
To encourage the students towards extension and extracurricular activities for their overall personality development.
To produce cent percent results and placements.

UG Social Work

The Undergraduate Department of Social Work, established in 2022, aims for excellence in education, research, and outreach with core values of honesty, non-violence, and integrity. It prepares students to tackle societal challenges with moral and professional integrity, collaborating closely with leading social work institutes. Offering a 3-year Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree, the curriculum focuses on theory, fieldwork, and research, providing students with practical experience and scientific skills. Through partnerships with governmental and non-governmental agencies, students engage in fieldwork and research, while the department’s association organizes events addressing various social issues.

Program Educational Objectives:

PEO3 To equip the students with innovative skills to became a successful professional person in their organization.
PEO4 Students may comprehend their knowledge in social work which will promote them for higher education in social work
PEO5 To help students to develop the skills for conducting many community programmes.
