The National Pollution Control Day or National Pollution Prevention Day is observed on December 2 every year in India. The objective of the day is to raise awareness about the different measures to control pollution and the prevention of industrial disasters. The day aims to bring awareness about the fatalities caused due to polluted water, land, and air.
