REPORT ON CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMS DURING
2023-2024
The Career Guidance programs aim at providing assistance to the students in choosing a major career path. The students are able to clearly understand the career exploration process and how their own skills and interest match up to a chosen career path. The details of such programs, arranged in this year, are as follows
Pre placement Talks:
The pre placement talks are organized by Department of Computer Technology. The programme focused to guide students in choosing different career in IT sector on 18.1.2024. 30 students had attended the program. The speaker of the program was Professor, Ms. K. Priyadharshini, Assistant Professor, SIIMS Business School, NGM College Campus, Pollachi.
To develop the logical reasoning ability and aptitude solving skills of a student, the NGM College conducts verbal and non-verbal reasoning classes and Mock tests from second year to final year by Academic Professional Development Department. The schedule of the training classes was shared with the students prior to the sessions and a Career Guidance related to chosen of Higher education.
