A three-day National Workshop on Manuscriptology was organized by the Tamil Department of Thanjavur Tamil University and the Tamil Department of N.G.M. College. Dr. G.M. Kovaimani, Head of the Department of Manuscriptology, Thanjavur conducted the workshop. About 75 people, including professors, research scholars, researchers and Tamil enthusiasts from Pondicherry, Madurai, Chennai, Sivakasi, The Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Palani participated and participated in the training. Top Further, 50 students of NGM College participated and benefitted in this training.
