Prof.Dr.SubramaniaAngaiah, Pondichery University, Puducherry-605 014, India has been actively engaged in research and teaching in the area of Nanomaterials for Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage Devices. He did his Post Doctoral Research at KIST, Seoul, South Korea in the development of electrospun polymer membrane electrolytes for electrochemical energy storage devices such Lithium-ion batteries and DSSC. He has worked in the areas of Corrosion Inhibitors, Anti-corrosive paints, Water treatment, Gas sensors, Surface Engg., etc. He is a Fellow/Life Member of several academic societies. He has received several Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards which includes AICTE-Career Awards, UGC-BSR Mid-Career Award, PU-Best Teacher Award, CSIR-Best Technology Award, etc. He is an Associate Editor/Member of the Editorial Advisory Board/Editorial Board of several international journals. He has published more than 125 research articles in peer- reviewed journals with a citation index ~4553 (h-index 39), and also holds several patents in US, EU and India. He is the author of five National and one international books.
