Inauguration of Certificate Course
On 8 th August 2024 PG and Research Department of Commerce at N.G.M. College,
in collaboration with Citizens’ Voice Coimbatore, proudly inaugurated a Certificate
Course today at the Prof. M. Alkondan Hall, NGM College, Palghat Road, Pollachi.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Srirangam R. Murali,
retired Assistant Director of All India Radio and Doordarshan Coimbatore, who
kindly consented to inaugurate the course and deliver the keynote address. Dr. R.
Manicka Chezian, Principal of NGM College, presided over the event, adding
academic gravitas to the proceedings.The event commenced at 9.30 a.m. with a
welcome address by Dr. P. Bruntha, Head of the Commerce Department at NGM
College.The annual report was presented by Ms.P.Karthika Assistant Professor of
commerce, Following this, Mr. C. M. Jayaraman, President of Citizens’ Voice
Coimbatore, introduced the Certificate Course with an enlightening lecture on the
Consumer Protection Act. Other notable moments included an honoring ceremony for
the Chief Guest by Mr. R. Kumar, Advisor of Citizens’ Voice Coimbatore.
