The Department of Botany organized a water day awareness program rally on 21/01/2023 from the campus through the main streets of the Pollachi. Students, Assistant Professors, Scholars, Lab assistants actively participated in the rally. Students carried placards with “Water Day” slogans and marched. The Principal, NGM College, Pollachi, let the rally start with a brief address on the importance of saving water. Police protection is given for the rally from the start to end. The best slogan “Nature is Nurtured when the water” is cultured by S. Bhuvaneswari II B. Sc Botany prize given by Principal.
