IQAC Overview
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been instrumental in higher education institutions seeking NAAC accreditation since its establishment in 2008. As per the recommendation of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC serves as a post-accreditation quality assurance measure. Its primary objective is to steer institutions towards academic excellence by ensuring consistent, deliberate, and transformative enhancements across academic, non-academic, and overall performance.
Functions of IQAC:
- Establishing Benchmarks: The IQAC is responsible for setting quality benchmarks and parameters for various academic, operational, and administrative activities within educational institutions.
- Sharing Information: It disseminates information about these benchmarks and parameters to all stakeholders involved.
- Fostering a Learner-Centric Culture: The IQAC promotes a culture that is conducive to quality education, while encouraging faculty members to embrace technology tools for participatory teaching and learning.

Objectives of IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has the following objectives:

- Develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to enhance the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- Quality Enhancement Measures:
- Promote institutional functioning by internalizing quality culture and institutionalizing Best Policies /Practices.
- Mechanisms and Procedures:
Evolve mechanisms and procedures for:
- Timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.
- Ensuring relevance and quality of academic and research programs.
- Equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for various sections of society.
- Optimization and integration of modern teaching and learning methods by using ERP and other tools.
- Credibility of evaluation procedures.
- Adequacy, maintenance, and functioning of support structures and services.
- MoUs and Collaborations with other Institutions.
