Department of Botany organized a “One Day Skill Enhancement Program on Scientific
writing skills & Education abroad “on 09th August 2023 at UG Botany Laboratory NGM College,
Pollachi. The program was organised by the staff members Department of Botany. Dr. A. Logamadevi
Associate Professor and Head, Department of Botany, welcomed the gathering and insisted the
importance of program. Mr. A. Charan, MS Cyber Security, Hochschule, Germany, acted as resource
person and chief guest, delivered and trained the students through live demonstration on LateX software
for scientific writing. He also explained about effective Scientific writing skills. The Afternoon session he
has given ideas regarding abroad job opportunities for life science students and procedures for travel
abroad for education. The Training brought together over Staff Participants at FN Session – 15 and AN
Session 9, participants from students/ research scholar’s at FN Session – 82 and AN Session – 65, The
program provided an interactive atmosphere between the staff members and the participants
